Sick (again)

Poor baby is sick again. Running a fever sent us to the doc today. Lena has an ear infection in her left ear. Now the whole family is on antibiotics. Whee!

A friend at work recommend probiotic supplements to help combat some of the less desirable affects of the antibiotics. Any one have any experience with those? Either for themselves or with babies?

Lena is the fourth generation of Lauriat to sail on the friendship sloop, Salatia--an honor which may be the first in the fleet! (Pending confirmation.)

Lena's great uncle Miff took us out for a lovely sail this afternoon. It was calm and sunny.
We had a great time. Thanks Uncle Miff!

Thuya Gardens

Today is Momma and Poppa's fourth anniversary. To celebrate, the entire family went to visit Thuya Gardens in Northeast Harbor--the place where we got married!

 

 

 

 

The hummingbirds were swarming! Priscilla, the head gardener at Thuya, told us the males had already left, but the females and juveniles were "tanking up" for their big migration. What a treat!

Hiyah

Today, Lena spent some time hanging out with her other great-grandmother, Hiyah. We are so lucky to have so many great grands around to visit. We had a wonderful time!
