Baking Cookies

Lena is Mama's little helper in the kitchen. And together, we baked chocolate chip cookies to share with our friends. It was fun!

"OK! That's a good idea!"

Actually, funny enough, Lena wouldn't even try the cookies. Later, when we made paper chains out of wrapping paper remnants, she did eat the glue. So, there you go...

Making Guacamole

Tonight, Lena helped make our guacamole for dinner. She added the chopped tomatoes and onions (Papa helped chop) and mixed it all together. Fun!

Why?

Is it just me or does this look like a toddler dinner made in heaven? Mexican pinwheels (sliced bean and cheese burrito) with rice and cheese (both favorites, usually.) Lena took one look and refused to come to the table by laying down screaming on the floor. And I thought I was a picky eater!
