SCIENCE!

This morning Lena participated in a research study at the Children's Research Lab in Langlois Social Development Lab at the University of Texas.

A cap with a series of electrodes measured Lena's brain activity as she looked at a series of images of different faces.

The purpose of the study is to measure response to various faces in an effort to understand when and how racial stereotypes (and perceptions of beauty) are formed.

Lena didn't mind the cap at all. She got a little bored watching the faces, but I think she lasted long enough to give them some good data!

After the study, Lena's head looked like she got grabbed by an octopus. :)
